NoPop is a nowave, pop act out of Brooklyn heavily influenced by such groups as the Pixies, DNA, Minutemen, and David Bowie. In April we saw the first single O, TV from their new effort, an excellent song that drives home, hitting the raw pulse and energy behind some of the peak years of those they are influenced by, albeit containing the band’s own unique pink-punk touch.

NoPop’s first EP “See Pretty” was officially released in May of 2014 and can be found at the Bandcamp link below for immediate purchase. In addition, you can also check out more from the band and a slew of other great artists on Mama Coco’s Funky Kitchen Compilation: Section 5 at the link below.
