LA based indie singer-songwriter Taylor Locke is about to release his debut solo album “Time Stands Still” this winter. You may not know that he co-founded the LA rock band Rooney in 1999, and was signed to Geffen Records at the age of 18. After 3 albums and a decade of international touring – including a #1 hit single in Germany – he shifted focus to a solo career.

The forthcoming new album Time Stands still is described as an intimate effort full of poignant lyricism, and expressive guitar work. The title of the album was apparently inspired by a folder of lyrics given to Taylor by the infamous Kim Fowley. As a live band, The Taylor Locke Band is rounded out by the album’s co-producer Kyle Frederickson (guitars/lap steel/mellotron), Ben Lecourt (drums/percussion), Art Webb (keyboards), Joe Guese (bass, guitar), plus background vocalists, Shay Astar, Jessica Isaac and Grace Kelly.
