Mark Di Giovanni, otherwise known as PLASTIC HANDGUN, is an independent musician and filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada who just released his first full album on January 11th that was composed entirely of experimental indie rock songs. “Involuntary Memories” was recorded over a 4 month period at the very end of this past year and touches on sub-genres like psych rock, post-rock and dream pop. He cited a few major influences in this endeavour, namely Animal Collective, Sunset Rubdown and Atlas Sound – as well as others.

The featured track “Introverts” takes the listener on an interesting ride, the seemingly symbiotic and dynamic musical layers leading toward the final moments as the surreal dreamlike world solidifies taking the song to wide-eyed heights into its final notes.
