Static in Verona: Bitter Branches

You may remember our daily feature on multi-talented Chicago musician Rob Merz and his project, STATIC IN VERONA. Well, we ran across his fantastic sophomore album again while casting our net into the musical sea over at -TwitterSearch- and wanted to share something that cements home the fact on what a stellar album he’s put together.

The track Bitter Branches if from the album earlier this year, Everything You Knew Before You Knew Everything, a full 16 track release of indie pop songs with subtle experimental and electronic undertones as noted on his site. Previous to this Static in Verona issued the 2010 debut, Be Quiet As You Leave.

Teasers on his Facebook page indicate a new album on the way around April of 2015, although Rob claims to be a bit more active on his Twitter account, so I’d recommend following him there to stay up to date on the latest news for the highly anticipated upcoming release.
