kimono Every year for the last seven years, Iceland Music Export has produced a compilation album featuring Icelandic artists, and the seventh edition in the Made in Iceland series has just been released. Of the 18 tracks on the album, available to stream in its entirety from SoundCloud (link below) we have selected Specters by kimono to feature today.

“Although they are virtually unknown outside of their native Iceland, kimono have spent the last decade releasing a very unique brand of surrealist lyrics, jagged guitar riffs and space alien drumming. ” [bio via Planetary Group]

We also read that they played with the legendary Damo Suzuki last year.
