Clintongore is a bi-coastal two-piece electronic pop band. Shaped from the residuum of their foggy, hungover lives in San Francisco, the duo – Sierra Frost and Christopher Crawford – now operate out of Portland and Brooklyn, respectively, generating a unique and sparkling form of synth-charged pop music, dominated by the snarling charm of Frost’s polished vocals.

I Need A Star takes the listener on an epically pop-laden ride through the mundane everyday perils of city-dwelling twentysomethings. Complemented by a cosmic and artful video full of frothing mouths, smashed teacups and a galaxial love affair, it’s a bombastic anthem that transcends any sort of “electronic” genre-pigeonholing that the group may encounter.

This is the second single from their forthcoming debut full-length album, which will be released on Breakup Records this fall. [bio via Breakup Records]
