We recently spotted this newish track from French indie pop duo COMETT while diving headlong into the abyss of endless music postings on Twitter (via Twitter Search). This is among the handful of sparkling songs we fished up out of the endless sea, the perfect way to start off the 1st of May with refreshing Parisian synth-pop.

It appears that the group has just secured funds for a 2014 album (arriving shortly), the crowdfunding effort just wrapping a few short days ago on Kiss Kiss Bank Bank. We’ve also embedded Comett’s acclaimed stop motion video below for the single “Once Upon a Time/City of Lights”, released in December 2011 under the album “My Reality is Your Friction”. The video was produced by Les lapins de l’espace under the direction of Romain Wagner.
