The Hot Toddies: Summertime Blues

After last years summer months blazed through to the end of 2013, they’ve spilled over into early 2014 here in California with just a few tiny windows for Winter to peek its head in amongst the long shutout. As we are currently locked into one of those tiny windows in this long extended vacation, lets fondly look back a few weeks to the endless sunny times – and dream about the long summer ahead.

Today’s feature – “Summertime Blues” is taken from Bay area trio THE HOT TODDIES, their first effort written and recorded together as a three-piece band, definitely as strong as we’ve ever heard them and with what looks to be a really great tour schedule for March. The Oakland based group are taking it to SXSW this year in Austin and then Oahu directly following for their Spring Break tour.
