Hayley Reardon: Numb and Blue
Seventeen year old Massachusetts artist Hayley Reardon returns on March 11, 2014 with her new EP “Wayfindings”, what looks to be a very promising follow-up to her previous indie folk effort, “Where the Artists Go”.
Unlike her debut album, released when she was 15, there wasn’t as much planning with the new EP, Wayfindings. Hayley had this to say about the release: “We really just set out to get down some newer songs and mark this explorative place between where I was with Artists and where ever it is I’m going next. I’d call the songs on Wayfindings quirkier, more personal, and a bit braver than the rest. I think the more that I grow and evolve, the more my songs do too. And I’ve definitely grown a lot since Where the Artists Go. Musically, this new project isn’t completely “stripped down” but it is more acoustic and I would say more intimate than anything else I’ve made.”
