Qiet Based in Huntington WV, Qiet is the artistic passion of Christopher Vincent, with co-conspirators James Maddox, Alasha Al-Qudwah, Lacey Hazel, Russell Snyder, Max Venoy and Raphael Godfrey, and they just released their new long player, Pet Driftwood. As Christopher Vincent plainly states: “The meaning of the album as a whole, is that often times we try to capture something and make it our property when that is far from its’ nature.” The Indie Song for all its catchiness is a parody of the current state of the indie genre where the “two chord songs with a lazy strum” are “tried and true marketing for the numb”.
