Red Nightfall: Chant
Following up on our last feature from Toronto Canada’s RED NIGHTFALL in 2012 (the song ‘Windmills’ taken from their late 2011 self-titled debut), we are happy to see the indie rock four-piece returned last week with the excellent five song EP ‘Late in the Fever’.
We spend a bit of time with the EP this afternoon and were floored by the entirety, from the beautiful melodic build-up and lyrics behind ‘Chant’ to the steadily paced guitars and distant backgrounds on ‘Temples’ and the infectious non-linear close-out track, ‘Inheritance’, another favorite with layered vocals and seamlessly conjoined instrumentation.
