Wonky Doll and the Echo is an indie band formed [in Athens, Greece] in mid-2010. Their music can be described as a mixture of post-punk, shoegaze, indie rock, incorporating sounds which are sometimes minimalistic and sometimes enriched by ethereal guitars, fuzzy bass lines and atmospheric synths. The first music video of Wonky Doll and the Echo for their song “The cut” is ready. After a successful crowd-funding campaign on Indiegogo.com and a lot of hard work, the results speak for themselves. A story full of mystery and captivating images, all blend together beautifully with one of the best songs of the debut album of Wonky Doll and the Echo “Pleasant Thoughts”. The music video is one of the two parts of the Indiegogo campaign. The other part is a short movie based on the same song, again, directed by Costas Gounaris.
