Coming out of Jersey City, NJ, three-piece garage roots rock band The MiCKS are carving out an unflinching foothold beyond the abounding vagueness of modern music. Founded by brothers Matt (singer/songwriter/guitarist) and Sam McMickle (drums), and joined by Hank Prol (bass), the trio creates rock inspired by the greats: The Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Nirvana, and can be compared to modern day bands like Delta Spirit, The Heartless Bastards and J Roddy Walston and The Business.

On December 11th they will release the self titled EP The MiCKS, an entirely analog recording featuring songs not about the fight or the glamour, but about the search for something greater than recognition.
