Terracotta Blue: Ravencrest
Terracotta Blue is Jay, an electronica enthusiast from Maryland who is inspired by dark mellow beats and his first love, hip-hop rhythms. He’s written a seven song release called Ravencrest, a follow-up ode to autumn and his latest release for October; this being his longest release since the 11 song Takoma Park last November. Ravencrest also follows on the heels of about five small EP style releases over the past year, no doubt all in the effort to keep things consistently fresh and ultimately for the love of music.
He describes his sound as ‘bliss haven, sunset music’ and we think the lead off track Ravencrest does a great job in summing up that short statement. All of Terracotta Blue’s releases are under a ‘pay-what-you-will’ model at the BC link below, so time to get downloading and exploring all the great gifts in his catalog.
