Why?: Sod in the Seed
Here’s a really brief intro to today’s featured musician courtesy of the Wiki collective: Jonathan “Yoni” Wolf was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Messianic Jewish parents. Before his first year in high school, he discovered an old 4-track in his father’s synagogue and began to experiment musically. His forays into rapping, drumming and poetry followed.
After several albums including the last which was reportedly rap free, Why? is back with their new EP Sod in the Seed released on August 14th in the US via Anticon and on August 13th in Europe on City Slang. The tour will fire up in late August in the US, and continue into the UK in October.
