Side by Side: My Everything
Michael and Joseph Pepe, twin brothers, met Joelle Kittrell through a mutual connection with the love of music and bringing their vision to the masses. The three instantly formed a unique creative and musical bond on stage and in the studio. Side by Side spent the better half of 2010 recording what would become their self-titled EP with producer Patrick Boyd (Slow Runner, The Paper Tongues, The Noises 10) which they released in February of 2011.
Since the EP’s release they’ve been touring the country playing and creating a fan base non-stop. They had the honor of Billboard Magazine naming Side by Side the top unsigned band in the Southeast and one of the top 6 unsigned bands in the nation and put them in their May 2011 issue as well as a country wide sponsored tour.
In late 2011 they brought in successful pop writer Aswan North of The Paper Tounges to create new songs with the trio to help the band reach an even wider audience. 2012 has brought more success as they dive into their pop roots with newly recorded material, and are wildly excited about releasing a new single and b-side disc in May to show the world their new sound. This release will be followed by more extensive touring and an LP planned for later in the year with their official new drummer Geoff Shackley added to the line up as of January. [Bio]
