Tycho: Hours Tycho is the music project of San Francisco based artist Scott Hansen (ISO50). This is the first single from his Album Dive. Tyco is appearing at the South By South West music festival in Austin Texas, this week.

This also fits our occasional ‘Instrumental Thursday’ theme on The Network.

“In 1999 Sacramento native Scott Hansen set up a production studio and began writing, producing, and recording as Tycho. For the last five years Tycho has been recording some of the most innovative electronic music in Northern California and beyond. Traveling the spectrum from Trip-Hop to Ambient, Tycho’s tracks retain a smooth Downtempo sound while seamlessly incorporating gritty, retro LoFi beats and dreamy, melodic soundscapes. During his live sets Hansen’s focus on more traditional and organic methods of composition shines through as he throws down captivating performances night after night.” [IODA]
