“It’s not often that you find a band comfortable and confident enough in what they do well—in this case, NYC-based three-piece Fleming and their catchy alt-rock and pop—to name themselves after their drummer. Honestly, it just doesn’t happen. But then again, you don’t often meet a guitarist and a bassist who are also surgeons. Talk about docs who rock. And when Erich (guitar, vocals) and Guillem (bass, vocals), who had been playing together in coffee shops and talent shows since their early days at Columbia University, met Andrew Fleming, their sound took on a whole new dimension—as did everything else.
