Indie pop outfit San Cisco from Fremantle in sunny Western Australia deliver the follow up to “Golden Revolver.” Today’s featured track “Awkward” will be the title track on their second EP, to be releasing this month worldwide via their own label Island City.

“Awkward” is a kooky call and response, featuring the debut vocals of drummer, Scarlett Stevens. It is a song that captures the stalker in all of us as vocalist. Jordi James calls to Scarlett:

“Why do you hold on so tight? What do you feel?”

San Cisco’s second EP was recorded in Melbourne with Steven Schram (Little Red, Cat Empire, Little Birdy) and is over-flowing with goodness, so much so, that they’ll be holding a few gems over for their next release. [via Planetary]
