The Blam: No Surprise
The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed the author of this post, and yes, it’s a New York band posted by the absentee host of IR: New York. Now we’re not promising anything, but do watch this space boys and girls…
“When the New York Music Scene decided to get cool again in the early 2000’s, there was a gigantic amount of bands popping out of the woodworks. Some of them memorable and some of them not so much. In the forefront of stellar bands to come out The Blam were at the top of the list.
‘No Surprise’ is taken from the album ‘Blow Wind Blow’ – written in the height of the band’s success in the early naughties, only to be kept back from release when the band suddenly split. Fast-forward 6 years and the album has finally seen the light of day, proving as fresh and relevant in current times as it was back then.” – Musebox
