Retired professional surfer Timmy Curran just released his third album “Options” this past week on May 31st and we are pleased to announce its a very solid gift for his fans and all other newcomers to Timmy’s music. He’s offered the entire eleven song recording up for free on his website as well as over at Last.FM, which is great as the word of mouth will most likely be pretty strong on this one.

That all being said Timmy has crafted a multi-faceted effort here with a lot of influences and styles from indie pop to electronica popping up across the album. It’s made it difficult to choose just one song to feature today here on the IR blog although after repeated listenings I’ve decided to showcase ‘Weary’ due to the way it came together at the end. It evokes some nice comforting imagery for those feeling a bit downtrodden, quite refreshing to say the least.
