Rudely Interrupted are a 6 piece indie rock band from Melbourne. They formed in 2007 and are loved by many fans. They have toured across the world with sell out performances in New York, Toronto, Bristol, Manchester & London. They will be touring the US and Canada again in June 2010. A new album is promised for later in 2010 as well as an Australian tour. They have played in several festivals and were the subject of a Australian TV documentary in December 2009.

The band have struggles that many bands do not – 5 out of 6 members have some form of physical and/or mental difficulty. This does not stop them from playing some great music and touring, however. Amongst other performances, the band were invited to play at the headquarters of the United Nations in New York for the International Day of Persons Living with a Disability in December 2008.

Rudely Interrupted were featured on episode 2 of Insomnia Radio: Australia.
