Dylan Connor: Breakaway and Burn
While many artists are currently wrapping up projects for 2008, Connecticut based musician, Dylan Connor is pressing ahead into the new year with a new album on the front burners. We were just told by the MuseBox that Dylan Connor will be releasing the much-anticipated forthcoming album, “Breakaway Republic” on January 20, 2009.
Through December and into next year, Dylan has a string of live shows lined up – predominantly in the North-East, leading into a full tour in February and eventually over to the Middle-East come summertime – all in support of Dylan’s new album.
The album itself is an array of indie focused pop-rock songs under the direction of producer Bryce Goggin (The Lemonheads, Phish, Apples in Stereo and Nada Surf).
The songs as well as the album title were highly influenced by Dylan’s own experiences at The Burning Man Festival years ago (where Breakaway Republic was the name of his “camp”).
