New York shredder Marnie Stern has just released a new album on Kill Rock Stars as of Oct 7th and the album title is one of longest I’ve ever seen (see above). You may think from the picture here that you are going to hear a tender ballad about puppy-dog love, but Marnie entirely cuts this one open on Transformer, thus turning Benji into Cujo. She has also apparently gathered acclaim for her technical skill and finger-tapping style of guitar play, which you hear quite a bit on this explosive track.

The album mentioned above is available for purchase at e-music and itunes. Marnie is playing at CMJ this month on three different dates, so check her social website for the latest details on her tour which eventually brings her sonic assault out to Los Angeles.
