Black Chapel: Sands of Time
Hailing from Cudahy, CA, Black Chapel was formed in 2002 by lead singer/guitarist Jose P., bass player, Chris C., and drummer, Vinnie V. Black Chapel’s music had undergone a number of musical styles before the band realized that whatever they tried sounded and felt like everyone else and everything else.

After the inclusion of keyboardist, Ben P., the band’s sound started to emerge as a force that no one was quite prepared for. With Ben’s eerie keyboards surrounding the band’s already intense thrash sound, the organic growth was almost complete. Each song the band has written, from the dynamic “Alone” to the epic title track, “Sands of Time” to their single, “Frozen”, brings together the band’s influences of thrash and epic progressive metal and fuses it with catchy melodies to create a new hybrid of metal. “Our goal is to create a sound that has room for imagination and vision. Music that in reality has no boundaries,” states drummer Vinnie V. |
