Steakhouse: Interstate

San Francisco based post-punk group Steakhouse released today’s featured track “Interstate” on their self titled LP in Sep 2014, the 10 track release taking a year in the making. The band plays post-punk with bits of country & western thrown in, reportedly at all the wrong times.

Steakhouse are currently writing for their sophomore release, and you can pick up the LP for $12 at BC or download a handful of free singles there, including this very solid atmospheric road-song, “Interstate“.

Influences: Scott Walker, Neu!, Roxy Music, Wall of Voodoo, Disco Ranch, and The Clash
