Meteor Chasma: Spaceship 2346
“Spaceship 2346” is the lead off track From the May 2017 nine-track LP “A Monkey Into Space” by Italian based rock band METEOR CHASMA. This excellent stoner-rock single revolves around the band’s adventure to conquer a planet while many of the other tracks are a psychedelic journey through time and space.
The group was conceived in the 2014 in a little town of the south of Italy: Potenza. The band is composed by: Sabè on drums; Carlo Armiento on bass guitar; Tony Shoesless on guitars and also providing vocals. Their music is a mix of different kind of music styles: psychedelic rock, stoner rock, alternative metal and grunge. They started out with their first Ep “Per Me” with Italian lyrics but made the change over to English in 2017 when they recorded this first album. Per the band its a tale of a “grotesque trip of a monkey into space”.
