Emerging outfit Cavalry unveil latest cinematic number Black, taken from their forthcoming debut EP ‘See The Night Perform’ out 1st December via Fierce Panda.

Led by a bruising and intimate lead vocal, Black’s dramatic, hallmark sound opens as a confessional kitchen-sink ballad before transcending into an instrumental storm and evolving into a psychedelic, arena-baiting breakdown.

The band’s melodic style has already earned the backing of Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music), whilst slots supporting acts including British Sea Power and Stephen Malkmus have honed their burgeoning live reputation. The five-piece will be hitting the road in November/December in support of their EP release. [via Super Cat PR]
