Saint Louis, MO ‘Lo-Fi Faux-Britpop’ band Comrade Catbox released their debut EP ‘Porcelain Pillows’ on May 6th.

“Comrade Catbox is a blistering 8-limbed psychedelic monster composed entirely of crunchy grooves. Guitarists Tyler Gibson and Ted Kazanecki brought in the biggest guns new to the rhythm section industry: snagging Ryan Brannan of the Hot Cross Buns to thunder away on the drums; and Peter Noire, formerly the brainchild/frontman of StL space-rock behemoth Neonbraska, on bass.

“All members play multiple instruments which allows a fluidity of movement and capability of instrument-by-instrument riffage unmatched in other local bands.

Reviews of the concerts go from Radiohead hard-rock to “Brian Jonestown-ish Art-Psych”. Comrade Catbox plays it hypnotic, grainy, and LOUD.” [from band bio]
