Skin & Bones: Wait No More
Skin & Bones is a folk duo comprised of Taylor Borsuk and Peter Blackwelder who met at an ill-fitting house show after Peter had moved to California from North Carolina. The americana influenced group started their journey by busking in the Venice Beach area here in LA, sometimes for 12 hours straight which reportedly helped them develop their musical chops.
2016 has been good to the band. The E.P. “Ghost in This Town” was released in February, and they are primed to repeat the same success with, “Wait No More“. Today’s exceptional featured track serves as a call to action for the band, as well as their friends and listeners, to stop living in fear and to sell their time to their passions. Borsuk had the following to say about the single:
“Wait No More is really a song about the pursuit of freedom. I wasn’t necessarily aware of that when writing it, but it has become very clear to me now. I feel that freedom is a term that means something entirely different to each and every one of us. The thing that remains common is that in those fleeting moments, when you truly feel free, you are absolutely and entirely absorbed in happiness.”
