Mitch Bradford: Now, Ballerina

Mitch BradfordBorn in Brownsville, TX, Mitch Bradford is an Ann Arbor based singer-songwriter. His music is a mix of garage rock and new folk – old American rhythms made new.

Today’s outstanding feature comes from his Kansas City LP, released November of 2012. It was actually the first album we came across in his catalog and recommended on Bandcamp by the last artist I had featured here on the Dose. While this album is a free download on BC, Mitch does have other albums under a name-your-price model including the more recent LP, Grand Army as well as a 4 track grouping of songs in Meserole Tapes: Demos from 2014 – 2015, which we have yet to fully explore.

An acoustic performance on video for another highly recommended song off this album, Reveaux-lu, follows further below.

RIYL: Warren Zevon, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Bob Dylan, Fleet Foxes, Conor Oberst
