This Lonely Crowd: Forelsket

This Lonely CrowdFormed in 2010, Curitiba Brazil based five-piece band THIS LONELY CROWD has many stories to tell. The self-proclaimed fairie rock group has released four albums, three EPs and a B-sides compilation. Influenced by literary fiction, the band has long express their source material on lyrics based in poetry and literature, being sung or whispered by the voices of characters found in fantasy literature – changing their own identity as time passes – the instruments completing the narrative.

The newest album (their fourth LP release) is named “Meraki“, a Greek word meaning to create something with soul and love, basically leaving a piece of yourself in your work. The effort arrived in October 2015 through Brazilian label Sinewave and like all their music on the digital catalog is released for free under the DYI initiative. It opens with today’s featured track, “Forelsket” , from the Norwegian word that translates to the feeling of first falling in love. It creates the setting for the rest of the album in which love is constructed an deconstructed on every track.
