Emerging artist James Leonard Hewitson has announced the forthcoming release of his debut single Care Less, Love Less. The melodic anti-folk track, the first in a series of releases planned by the singer-songwriter, combines clever wordplay with laid-back summer vibes and is sure to earn plenty of plaudits.

Drawing from strong American influences such as Black Lips and Adam Green, Hewitson’s unique style provides a fresh take on slacker pop, with soothing vocals and fuzzy guitars creating a sumptuous sound crafted to perfection.

Produced by Chris McManus, James Leonard Hewitson’s Care Less, Love Less is released via Endearment Records on 15th July and will be available to purchase on iTunes and Spotify. [via Super Cat PR]
