“Chicago’s Jonas Friddle & The Majority are a eight piece, band Members are Jonas Friddle, Geoff Dolce, Andrew Green, Anna Jacobson, Andrew Wilkins, Maria McCullough, Bailey Doyle, & Evan Jacobson.

“They are soon releasing their self-titled sophomore album. It stretches beyond earlier recordings with music that infuses a steady heartbeat of Rock and Roll guitar, the energetic fiddle of Carolina Old Time and the bright horn section of New Orleans Jazz to take listeners across a spectrum of sounds to also include Brazilian beats and even elements of gospel.

“North Carolina native Jonas Friddle began writing songs at ten years old when his dad bought him a yard sale Harmony guitar. Raised on songwriters like John Prine, Paul Simon, Jackson Browne, Leonard Cohen and Randy Newman, Friddle writes with great care for lyrics.
