Foggy City Orphan: Rocket

Foggy City OrphanFoggy City Orphan formed in early 2015 in a Glasgow basement, the band name apparently the Chinese translation of Dickens’ Oliver Twist. FCO will mark their first anniversary with the launch of their debut single, Rocket, on February 1st at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut’s annual New Year’s Revolution Festival. Its quite an infectious track that coincides nicely with consistent worldwide news of reusable rockets, space tourism and 3-D printed engines.

The band has apparently had quite a productive past year apparently. While they’ve started to gather some serious attention in the UK, the band’s singer, Paul, also won a Scottish BAFTA for composing the score for an award winning BBC Scotland documentary. This great news has been coupled with sell-out shows supporting acts such as Dexters, Calm Fiasco and Scottish Indie luminaries Spare Snare.
