Daddy Lion: No Solution But Resolution
Daddy Lion started as the solo home-recording project of Jeremy Joseph from Washington, DC. His first EP and LP were released on 24 Hour Service Station records and garnered praise from the likes of NPR Music (feature written by Ben Westhoff of LA Weekly), The Washington Post, Washington City Paper, Popdose, and more. Daddy Lion has had the privilege to open for prominent acts including Tim Kasher (Cursive) and Shonen Knife.
In 2012 Jeremy moved to Columbia, SC to pursue graduate studies in philosophy at University of South Carolina. This past year Daddy Lion evolved into a full-fledged band featuring Randal Franklin (bass), Bart Ballington (drums) and Chris Johnson (synth). The band will be hitting the studio in February to record a new EP, the first in a planned trilogy of EPs to be released this year. [Bio]
