Teen Daze: Orange
The Brio Life is releasing a new track by Canadian producer Teen Daze entitled “Orange”. If the name doesn’t sound familiar, you may remember the appearance of their Edward Sharpe remix of “Life is Hard”, our last feature from TD on the channel.
Well this new song is part of a greater project entitled “Through The Aperture”, in which Teen Daze created a track inspired by the work of Sonny Kay (album artist for Mars Volta, Glitch Mob, Shooter Jennings, 311, Rx Bandits), conversely inspired by 3 tracks from Teen Daze.
“Through the Aperture” is an experiment where three musicians and three artists will escape their regular imaginative environments and create work inspired by each other. Rather than simply attaching a generic mood to match the other’s art, they will break down the elements of each’s composition to the most specific terms, languages, and dialects. By doing so, they can better transform the creative process between what we hear and what we see, and in a more direct way.
More information about this interesting project can be found here, which also includes upcoming features from Sun Glitters and Ta-ku.
