Brazos: How the Ranks Was Won

BrazosMartin McNulty Crane V comes from a long line of exceptional Martins. There’s an orphan who became attorney general of Texas and fought the KKK, a lieutenant who fought in WWI, an airline pilot who raised his family in Iran, and a scientist. Dead Ocean recording artist Martin Crane, who now records as Brazos, has released his latest ‘Saltwater’ earlier in the year.

Today’s feature, ‘How the Ranks Was Won,’ is a tale about the voyage of a ghost ship and its descendants. I love the name of his group and the bio as it reminds us our our ancestors who settled in Texas, a stones throw from an arm of the Brazos amongst new beginnings. The song ain’t bad either!

Brazos will be touring with ISLANDS come October so make sure to check in below for the latest tourdates.
