The Downer Party: Blue State
“Blue State”, the Downer Party’s second release this year and first 7″, is the perfect follow-up to their spring EP “Cities”. As an ongoing theme, much of the groups lyrics and songwriting describes places and locations (more so than people or things). Carrying this torch forward, “Blue State” focuses on the group’s home – the San Francisco Bay Area.
