Megan Bonnell: South Korea

Toronto’s Megan Bonnell recently signed to Nevado Records and Management (Bahamas, Yukon Blonde, Golden Dogs), her debut EP titled MAPS being released around the world shortly thereafter on June 21st, 2011. The four songs featured on the release are geographically-themed. The lyrics are both real and imagined and the combination of music really ends up transporting the listener to these locales.

The first single is the track titled South Korea and it was released in May 2011 alongside an ethereal and surreal video directed by Toronto artist Joy Broadbent. The album was mixed by Chris Shaw (Bob Dylan, Wilco) and mastered by Phil Bova (Feist, Bahamas, Zeus). [Killbeat]
