Hail! The Planes is a post-folk band from Cardiff that got their start in late 2007 when four friends got together and made a folky racket in a small room above an estate agents. Their influences run the gamut from instrumental bands like Do Make Say Think and Dirty Three, and also more vocally-oriented indie like Broken Social Scene and Arcade Fire.

Hail! The Planes recorded a four track EP in December 2008 that goes by the name “Tree Creeper & Other Songs”. You can also find the newer two song release which includes today’s featured track at their BandCamp link below.
