Jace Krause and Hannah Williams met in college during a music theory class. It was three years later when they connected again, a chance encounter during a show at Seattle’s famed Crocodile Cafe in 2005. After the show, they traded songs in William’s apartment. He liked her voice. She liked his songs. They decided to form a band.
The band has taken many trips up and down the West Coast, where they encountered friendly hot dog vendors, 2 AM hotel hot tub break-ins, surprisingly good food in Sacramento, tons of awesome people, and a blown transmission in Santa Monica.
