Drew Danburry: Many Are Cold, But Few Are Frozen
Since we last heard from Provo, Utah based artist DREW DANBURRY, he had married his true love, Lynette (aka Lady Danburry), and followed up touring in 2009 with an assortment of talented artists – some you have heard of… some not – but that is a tale for another blog.
We were happy to come across a short announcement of a new album available (Goodnight Gary) and knew that it wouldn’t be your everyday release. Drew has a talent for crafting unique story-driven songs that capture a bit of his carefee spirit, and the bonus is that just don’t know what you are going to get with each release. It’s a satisfying feeling to say the least.
So what is happening for Drew in 2010? Well…he opened the year by playing with the band Miniature Tigers at Kilby Court and on February 9th released this album on Emergency Umbrella Records. He then began a monthly Video Webisode Project called “Reliving the 90’s” with friends in Utah and is preparing for the release of an album entitled “Goodnight Dannii” coming soon…
