Stars Don’t Sleep: In the Daylight

From Los Angeles, indie rock band STARS DON’T SLEEP have just released their new EP featuring the title track “In the Daylight”, which tells the story of a disoriented East Coast kid squinting cautiously at the first rays of his newly found LA life.

According to their website, the group is an alternative-pop nebula sonically anchored by the production of New Jersey transplant Adam ‘batman’ Haggar, and this is just the first in a series of several new releases being planned out for 2010.

The release was apparently crafted with notables such as drummer Jake DeSouza (Aurum Star), cellist Brent Arnold (Modest Mouse), Dion Rambo (Chrysalis Publishing) and Jennifer Reed (Orelia Has Orchestra).

Stars Don’t Sleep are graciously offering up this great track for free at their website, along with four others on the EP, so follow the link below for a quick .zip download or alternatively – buy the EP from one of many digital vendors.
