Bishop Allen: The Ancient Commonsense of Things
Grrr… is the third full length album by Brooklyn, New York indie rock group Bishop Allen. It was just released last month on March 10th and is a follow-up to their 2007 album, The Broken String.
Bishop Allen formed out of the friendship of core members Justin Rice and Christian Rudder and took their name from a street in Cambridge, Massachusetts where the two lived after attending Harvard University.
After their Harvard years of hosting a punk/indie radio show and forming a hardcore punk band, Rice & Rudder eventually made their way to Brooklyn with an accomplished twelve EP’s, three full lengths, and various tv and film projects to their name.
